CocoonU are an established luxury, ethical and organic brand and now partner with Susan Gaunt Design at their Harrogate Boutique and online at cocoonu.com.  Both Vanessa and Susan are passionate about British designer makers and supply many pieces from local artisans in Yorkshire, as well as across the UK. CocoonU also work with suppliers who manufacture on a small scale using traditional and sustainable techniques and natural materials in countries such as Outer Mongolia and Italy.

Totally unique, our Boutique is nestled in the beautiful Montpellier area of Harrogate, North Yorkshire and is a haven for lovers of bespoke, unusual and luxury items such as cashmere, handmade ceramics, IT accessories, leather handbags and satchels, leather briefcases and luggage and organic skincare. Vanessa and Susan have detailed knowledge about all their products and are infinitely passionate about everything they do.

We have many lovely accessories such as soft cashmere scarves, cute alpaca gloves, leather IT accessories including Ipad and Iphone2 covers and if you are looking for a stunning leather handbag, leather satchel, leather briefcase or luggage, we have the perfect piece - soft or structured, in a range of creative designs.  Worsted wool cashmere hats and ties made from British cloth designed by Susan Gaunt and made locally are available in sizes and colours to suit everyone. A renowned textile designer, her clients include world class brands such as Jaeger.

Cashmere is a truly luxurious fibre and is exquisitely soft and warm.  It is water resistant and works well in both hot and cold climates, as it is extremely light.  CocoonU also retail Alpaca accessories.  Alpaca tends to be heavier and is designed primarily for cold climates and has a unique ‘buttery’ softness which is hardwearing and very warm. Alpaca makes a more affordable alternative to cashmere, but is still a luxury and finest quality material.

We offer a niche collection of clothing across the seasons. Our 2013 cashmere sweater and cardigan collection is made from pure, ethically sourced cashmere from Outer Mongolia and Italian designed, A niche collection of dresses, shirts, tunics and jackets, flattering and timeless with delicate contemporary features, are made in exceptional quality, cotton, silk and fine merino wool.
